It is often the case that not all radiators are replaced when retrofitting underfloor heating in a redevelopment. These require a higher warm-up temperature than QuickTherm underfloor heating. The installation of the QuickTherm compact control station is recommended in this case.
The compact control station is designed for direct connection with the QuickTherm heating circuit distributor with a 1“ cap nut. The required panel heating warm-up temperature is set on the thermostat head (weather independent temperature management). This slowly opens the thermostat valve on the primary warm-up when the system falls below the panel heating target temperature (which can be freely selected from 20 °C to 50 °C) and allows warmer water from the high temperature heating circuit to flow into the panel heating circuit (mixing). This mixes the high warm-up temperatures of the radiator circuit with the lower temperature level for panel heating.
Two QuickTherm ball valves 3/4"" Eurocone are recommended to block the primary circuit (boiler circuit).
• Integrated warm-up thermostat valve and return control valve with Eurocone connection nipple 3/4""
• Warm-up temperature can be selected between 20 and 50 °C
• Energy saving circulation pump
• Electric safety temperature limiter
• Dimensions: 315 mm x 285 mm x 110 mm
Please note that you must choose the next largest cabinet size for the combination of a compact control station with a QuickTherm distribution cabinet (surface-mounted or recessed). The minimum size is therefore a cabinet size in type II; a type I distribution cabinet is not suitable for use with a compact control station.
